Grizzlies 25 Day

This program is for “little rippers” 5-11 years olds. Ramped up from our 17-day program, this group will ski 25 days during the ski season with an optional three day New Years Camp to really get ski season started off well. If you want to see some serious improvement in ski ability watch this group! These athletes will develop skills to ski just about anything!

The 25 Day program typically begins early December and the athletes ski every Sunday until the Teacher’s Convention/Family Day weekend (which they then have off). The following weekend this group ramps up to Saturdays AND Sundays until the end of the season taking full advantage of the warmer temps when the days are brighter and we have our ski legs going. During the season, athletes will participate in our “Candy Cane Classic” and our “Gene Durand Classic” where they race down to mountain and then celebrate their successes with their teammates! They will also participate in the “Grizzly Cup” where they show off their free skiing skills and vie for the Cup! Towards the end of the season these athletes also have the opportunity to enter the Doug Meyers Memorial Race that we as a club host at Lake Louise every season. They then wrap up at the end of April with the Family Fun Race for athletes, coaches and parents followed by the Club Banquet!
